This article provides a step by step guide to the installation of the Liquid code required to run the Instant Brands Page - Favourites Slider on your Shopify site. This slider is a great way to show off your best brands in either your main or product pages.

  1. Log on to you Shopify store (if you havent already) via https://.myshopify.com/admin
  2. This will take you to your stores Dashboard.
  3. In the lower left hand side you will see an option called ‘Online Store’. Click on it
  4. It will expand to present further options. Click on the option titled ‘Theme’
  5. From the ‘Actions’ menu, select the ‘Edit Code’ option
  6. This will load the Theme editor window
  7. In the left hand pane are all your assets and liquid files that are required to run your store
  8. Pick the template, section or snippet applicable to the location you wish to add the Favourite Brands Slider
  9. To add to the bottom of your Collections page - click on the Templates/Collections.liquid or in newer themes the Sections/Collection-Template.liquid
  10. As per the image below. Scroll down and add the following code to the bottom of the file where you want the slider to show {% include 'instant-brand-page-slider' %}.
  12. Click 'Save' to finish.
